In light of the recent increases in cases of Covid19 in the area the Albion Rovers Covid Committee are concerned that there has been a relaxing of social distancing especially around the walkway at the all weather pitch and on the sideline and this has been highlighted to the club by several concerned members in recent days. The club would like to remind all members that the following procedures apply at all sports grounds :
· Strictly only one parent / guardian allowed per juvenile at games and training with no children / siblings allowed
· Spectators must adhere to strict social distancing guidelines of 2m
· Spectators are required to give name and contact number to club Covid officers for the purpose of contact tracing
· Hand washing and hand sanitizing facilities are available at the club and we would encourage everyone to use them
Parents / guardians are reminded that players should remain in the car until summoned by the coach to avoid cross over contact with other groups and parents / guardians should not leave the grounds when dropping off until after the player’s temperature check has been completed.
We as a club want to be able to continue to allow parents / guardians enjoy watching games in Albion but this is dependent on everyone pulling together and adhering to the above guidelines. We thank everyone for their co-operation in this regard.
